All in all, if you are considering downsizing from a large home in the county or one of the large homes in the Central West End, the St. Regis should be a viable option for you.  It is at the edge of the city limits and our wonderful Forest Park is practically right outside the door.  Of course, The Chase is directly across the street but you also have many other city amenities within a short walk.  Straub’s Grocery Store is about a block away.  The Schlafly Branch of the STL Public Library is around the corner.  A metrolink station is walkable for easy access to STL events.  The views from your 5th floor eastern facing windows are of a strong urban community with restaurants, shops and entertainment at your fingertips.
