Credit Scoring Changes
Other good news for buyers comes from one of the larger credit reporting agencies, Fair Isaac Corporation. Fair Isaac Corp produces the FICO credit-score calculations and they are making changes that will make it easier and less costly for millions of people to get credit. FICO will no longer consider in its calculations any record of a failure to pay a bill if it has since been paid or settled with a collection agency. It will also five less consideration to unpaid medical bills that have been turned over to a collection agency.
